OUR STORY
Evergreen State Brewing Co. was born from a love of craft beer, community, and the place we call home.
In 2025, we took over the former Gig Harbor Brewing operation and began building something new—Evergreen State Brewing Co. While the name changed, our goal was bigger than simply putting a new sign on the door. We wanted to create a brewery that felt distinctly Washington.
That idea became the foundation of Evergreen.
THERE'S A STORY BEHIND THE BEER
Washington isn't just where we're located. It's part of who we are.
Every Evergreen beer is connected to something in Washington State—a place, a person, a landmark, a bit of history, or one of those stories you might only know if you've spent some time here.
From Dead Man's Island IPA to Harry Henderson Brown Ale and the rest of the Evergreen lineup, the names give us an excuse to celebrate the state we call home. And occasionally teach you something while you're drinking a beer, which seems considerably better than learning without one.

Today, you'll find Evergreen in two Washington waterfront communities.
Our Tacoma taproom on the Foss Waterway is built for gathering—craft beer, food, events, live entertainment and plenty of reasons to stay awhile.
Our Gig Harbor taproom offers a smaller neighborhood experience in the heart of the harbor, where a pint and a conversation are really all the agenda you need.
